This Sunday’s 9:15am service is presided by Rev’d Martin King.
St Francis is currently in vacancy (we do not have a resident priest). However worship services, community activities and events take place as usual. We are supported by a community of both retired and serving priests within the Diocese. They come to preach and celebrate with us. Our PCC is hard at work on our Parish Profile but the recruitment of a new priest is a long process. Tuesday @1930 Said Eucharist
Wednesday @1030 Said Eucharist (occasionally Non-Eucharist) Note: Most Wednesday services will be a Said Eucharist except for one, now and then, in the form of a Service of the Word or Morning Prayer.
Wednesday @2000 via Zoom Prayer Group
In AUGUST (summer break) we have one Sung Eucharist service @9:15am, and two other Said Eucharist services during mid-week (Tue night or Wed morning).
Frankie’s @5 informal Worship Service on the first Sunday (Next service: 7 Sep)
Choral Evensong @1800 usually on the fourth Sunday Follows traditional pattern in The Book of Common Prayer and consists of choral music (psalms, canticles, and anthems) in the rich Anglican musical tradition, scripture readings, and prayers. This service provides a time for quiet reflection. (Next service: 21 Sep)
