St Francis of Assisi church is a friendly church ‘family’ and would like to welcome you to our services, information about which can be found here and clicking on ‘Services’. We are geographically in the heart of Welwyn Garden City, just opposite the Howard Centre off Parkway and in this new season of our church life, we are looking forward to being more present in the community.
You are also invited to come to our groups. For example, we offer lunch at 12pm on a Thursday, usually soup in the winter months, and often with cake, and of course the opportunity to have a conversation with others. Just turn up on the day if you fancy some company; we ask for a contribution of £1.50 if you are able, but it is not compulsory.
Some people attend church or our groups by themselves or with friends, others as part of a couple or with their families.
