We usually offer a service on Sunday at 9.15 am. Occasionally we hold the service at 10am, so please keep a watch on our notice sheets.
The main service is a service of Holy Communion and lasts around an hour. We follow an order of service that is printed (large print copies are available) and the vicar will guide the congregation on what is happening. We use Common Worship Liturgy (words prescribed by the Church of England) in contemporary language.
There are often church groups for young people which take place during the service before communion when the children return.
We are also blessed with a number of talented people in the church choir which supports our worship. The choir often sings an anthem during the sharing of communion, and sings parts of the service such as The Kyrie and The Gloria.
Clergy wear special robes and there are also often Servers who robe in white albs and help to create a sense ceremony. People from the congregation often read from scripture, or lead intercessions (prayers) and there is nearly always the opportunity for refreshment and a chat in the hall afterwards.
