Jun 20

St Francis is in vacancy – the time between one incumbent (resident priest) leaving and the next one starting. For church services, community activities and events, this is business as usual. Meanwhile we are supported with love and care from many retired or serving clergy and laity members (readers) across the Diocese. We have started the work to appoint a new minister however this is a lengthy process!

Come as before or if you are new, welcome and join us. We offer the following services:

Tuesday @1930 Said Eucharist

Wednesday @1030 Said Eucharist (occasionally Non-Eucharist)

Note: Most Wed 10:30 am services will be a Said Eucharist except for one, now and then, in the form of a Service of the Word or Morning Prayer.

Sunday @0800 Said Eucharist and @0915 Parish Communion (sung)

Frankie’s @5 informal Worship Service on the first Sunday of each month

(Next: 6 July starts with a special Afternoon Tea Party @4pm followed by the service

Choral Evensong @1800 on the fourth Sunday of each month

(Follows traditional pattern in The Book of Common Prayer and consists of choral music (psalms, canticles, and anthems) in the rich Anglican musical tradition, scripture readings, and prayers. The service provides a time for quiet reflection.)

(Next service: Today @6pm)
