God’s light prayer. We are Children of light, no longer in the darkness
Lord, I thank you for shining your light into the darkness. You help me look forward to brighter days. Lord, I thank you for yesterday and I’m thanking you for today too. I thank you for the love you are showing towards me, it’s a great love that I can’t explain.
Lord, you said “let there be light” and there was light. The light you created made darkness disappear. You also created me in your likeness. I am your image and I know and believe I carry power. With that power in me Lord, I command light into my day and let darkness disappear. Amen.
