During Holy Week we have additional services on from Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and of course the Family Communion on Easter Sunday to celebrate the resurrection of Christ Jesus. Please look at our calendar page for details on these services.
St Francis is in vacancy, the period between one resident priest leaving and the next one starting. Worship services, community activities and events continue as usual. We are lovingly supported by retired and serving diocesan priests who come to preach and celebrate Eucharist with us.
On a typical week, we offer the following worship services:
Tuesday @1930 Said Eucharist
Wednesday @1030 Said Eucharist
Wednesday @2000 via Zoom Prayer Group
Frankie’s @5 informal Worship Service on the first Sunday (Next service: 3 May TBC)
Choral Evensong @1800 usually on the fourth Sunday Follows traditional pattern in The Book of Common Prayer and consists of choral music (psalms, canticles, and anthems) in the rich Anglican musical tradition, scripture readings, and prayers. This service provides a time for quiet reflection.(Next service: 26 Apr)
