"Christ Has Died. Christ Is Risen.
Christ Will Come Again!"
You may have walked with Christ your whole life. You may be taking tentative first steps in faith. All are welcome here at St Francis.
You might like to know that we're an Anglican (Church of England) church in the Diocese of St Albans. Or you might just need to know that we're a supportive, 200-strong community where you can seek peace, find joy and feel God's love. We warmly invite you to worship with us. Or simply join us for a coffee to find out more.
Our church family is made up of all ages and backgrounds. There's lots going on - Sundays and throughout the week. So we hope there's something that feels comfortable for you. You might first choose to come along to a traditional communion service, dive in to a more informal service, or test the waters at a social gathering. However you'd like to meet us, we look forward to meeting you.
This page contains the Sunday Morning (and other) streamed services, some reflections and actvities for children. The Sunday Morning 8.00 am service will be recorded and added to the page at midday. After that time, you will be able to access the actual page for that Service.
Many people give generously to financially support the work of this Church in bringing the good news of Jesus to the community through spiritual and practical work. However, during the extended time of lockdown, the ability to leave donations 'via the plate' disappeared. Even though the pandemic may seem a distant memory, we are still feeling the financial effects of it and the rise in things like energy prices. We have more outgoings to keep the church running that we have in income. If you would like to donate online please click the button above.
