Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information, which are downloaded to your computer, mobile or other device when you visit a website. Cookies are then sent back to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or to another website that recognises that cookie. Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognise a user's device. You can find more information about cookies at www.allaboutcookies.org and www.youronlinechoices.eu.
The Website only uses ‘performance cookies’ to collect information about how many visitors use the Website, which pages they go to most often and if they get error messages from web pages. These cookies do not collect information that identifies a visitor. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. It is only used to improve how the Website works.
By using the Website, you agree that we can place these types of cookies on your device.
8. Links to other websites
The Website may contain links to websites operated by other parties. The PCC does not control such websites and is not responsible for their content. The PCC's inclusion of links to such websites does not imply any endorsement of the material on such websites or any association with their operators.
9. Applicable law
These Terms & Conditions will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and any disputes will be decided only by the English courts.
If any provisions of these Terms & Conditions are held to be invalid or unenforceable, the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions will not be affected.
Any failure of the PCC to exercise or enforce any of its rights under these Terms & Conditions will not be deemed to be a waiver of any such rights or operate so as to bar the subsequent exercise or enforcement or any such rights.
A person who is not a party to these Terms & Conditions will have no right under the Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of these Terms & Conditions but this will not affect any right or remedy of a third party which exists or is available apart from that Act.
