Many of the regular activities at St Francis are suitable for everybody. Some happen weekly, others monthly. There are also key annual events such as our popular Christmas Tree Festival. In addition to the information below, please check our online calendar for the latest news of what’s on. Our Facebook page also has photos, feedback and comments on past events.
Coffee for All
Wednesdays, 10.30am-12pm, Parish Room
We get together for tea, coffee and biscuits following the 10.30am Holy Communion. Everyone is very welcome, whether you attend the service or not. The coffee is good and prices are very modest!
Thursdays, 12-2pm, Church Hall
We offer a simple meal with fellowship. Usually homemade soup, cheese, rolls, fruit and tea/coffee. Everyone is most welcome, whether a church member, friend or simply in the area wanting something simple to eat and a chat.
Sundays, 10.30am, Church Hall
A popular event for all our congregation, following the 9.15am service. Newcomers are made very welcome. It’s also an opportunity to celebrate anniversaries, special birthdays etc together. So there’s often cake alongside the tea, coffee and biscuits! On the second Sunday of each month there is also a Fairtrade Stall, supporting producers in many different countries, with St Francis receiving 10% of the funds raised.
